Make-up vans and trucks: Creating beauty the simple way

The make-up van or truck is at the heart of the film set. Here, the artistes are turned into the characters they embody on screen. The make-up van or truck is a place of serenity and focus. Often times, this is where a valuable exchange between the actors and the make-up artists happens. Therefore, our vehicles are not only functional but aim to create a positive atmosphere. White worktops and neutral lighting meet wooden elements and other fine materials. For each project, we offer different varieties of our vehicles: from a light van which accommodates two make-up workstations to a large truck with up to five – which is ideal if you are planning to work with many background artistes. And if your project is really big, we can easily attach a trailer. Each vehicle offers warm water supplies to feed the sinks for washing hair or cleaning equipment. Almost all vehicles have an on-board battery which maintains the light and auxiliary heater for a few ours even without a mains power supply. Most of our make-up vans and trucks are fitted with underfloor heating, air conditioning, and auxiliary heater.
